We lost 2-1. The other team... oh my word. They were horrible men. They should have had 3 red cards, they got 4 yellows. We had a legitimate goal turned down, our goalie (god bless him) dropped the ball in our goal and the list goes on.

People will get judged one day, for that I am grateful.

One of my brothers pointed out that my entry on here describing how I asked Esme to marry me was not romantic at all and much too dry. He also said I put too much emphasis on the gifts I bought and sounded a bit materialistic. I was actually quite aware of how dry it was, I think I was worried about being too soppy and feminine so I went too far the other way. As for the gifts part, I was trying to communicate that it was kind of a theme and I was just trying to treat her and then say, 'I've got another gift' and pull out the ring.

This is quite overly defensive of me to write all this but I was already quite aware of how dry and boring I sounded when I wrote it so I feel I need to explain. But I am quite romantic
